Josie lived on a farm in Bristol with her Aunt.
Josie was the first house mate to enter the BB house on 10th june 2010 and the last one to leave as the winner with a massive 77.5% of the vote
Josie then re-entered the house to take part in the UBB house with a other past BB house mates. and celebrities
After only 2 days Josie walked via the fire exit in the garden


Josie supports a charity called “CLIC” (cancer and leukaemia in children)
On 10th June 2010, Channel 4’s Big Brother launched and Josie Gibson’s name was the first to be chosen by Big Brother. Josie entered the house for the final series of Big Brother to a crowd of cheers and did a little "Running Man" dance as she entered
During Big Brother, Josie became known for her catchphrase, “Whenever I feel a bit low, I always think about that woman that had her face ripped off by a chimpanzee.”
When she went to the Big Brother audition she admits that she only went to keep a friend company, and almost didn’t go in as she was going to a football match!
On August 24th 2010. Josie won with an astonishing 77.5% of a five-way vote, the highest percentage win ever! Throughout her stay she received only 5 nominations for eviction and never once faced the public vote.
After winning she Re-entered the house to take part in Ultimate Big Brother, but left after two days.
